Established during 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family business in the Northern Italy's biggest industrial place. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in constructing pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, various kinds of forklifts, presses, prefabrication molds and farming machinery.
The business began crane production in 1963. Eventually, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
