Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system offers much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish your requirements, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. If both precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible, numerous attachments have been engineered and made such as winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to position materials more precisely. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being made and engineered all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. For example, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom would compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
