Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You could normally find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also known as pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are utilized in order to transport supplies and things around on wooden pallets using metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump that can raise the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by one individual.
To be able to avoid loosing control while raising heavy loads, pallet trucks must always be operated carefully. Machine must be checked before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Make sure that the handle smoothly turns. The pallet should be carefully stacked in order to guarantee that nothing will fall off during transportation.
To release air in the pump and lower the forks, squeeze the lever situated on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks could then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks must be centered to be able to ensure even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not lift the pallet very high or the forklift could unbalance.
Pull on the handle and then drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is not safe to push the pallet ahead of you as the momentum could cause it to go out of control. Take turns slowly and don't attempt to stop suddenly. Gradually come to a stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
